Kevin Gatlin - Editor
Biography: Kevin was born in Chicago and raised in Oak Forest, Illinois. From a young age, he became enamored with the magic of books and storytelling. Kevin's interests vary wildly, and as such, he studied English, Philosophy, and Women’s Studies extensively at Northern Illinois University, where he graduated summa cum laude. As the staff writer and editor at Armor, he gets to practice and hone his writing skills in a real-world environment. As an added benefit, he gets to learn from Armor's talented programmers (currently, how to write code). When not working or reading, Kevin binge watches a lot of movies and television. He's excited to be a part of the Armor team and enjoys dealing with the new challenges that the job offers him.

Hobbies: 17th-century British literature, poetry, and manuscript culture (specifically, John Donne and John Milton), magical realism (specifically, Jorge Luis Borges, Italo Calvino, Isabel Allende, and Nikolai Gogol), feminist literature and poetry (specifically, Sylvia Plath, Virginia Woolf, Adrienne Rich, Christina Rossetti, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Jeanette Winterson, and Daniel Mallory Ortberg), the ghost stories of M. R. James, Sheridan Le Fanu, Susan Hill, and Shirley Jackson.
